With the development of the times, the frequency of replacement of knowledge faster and faster, the study of knowledge alone can’t adapt to the progress of society, schools should pay attention to the importance of knowledge of teaching into culture ability. Geography teaching should keep up the pace of the transition from teaching students geography knowledge to cultivate emphasis on students learning ability, students focus on learning transfer ability in middle school geography teaching, facilitate a smooth migration of geographic knowledge, skills, geography, geography emotion. Teach students to learn by analogy,to improve the ability to apply knowledge to solve problems.To fully understand the current status of learning geography teaching in migration effectively cultivate learning transfer ability, using literature study and questionnaire, Urumqi, Xinjiang Agricultural University Affiliated High School students conducted a survey.Survey results show: first, students learn geography class interest and motivation is not strong, the lack of awareness of active migration, low self-efficacy, attribution negative tendencies, presence mindset; cognitive structure is not perfect; metacognitive level is not high; second, the lack of teachers in teaching with a combination of real life cases, a low level of generalization, instructional design textbook arrangement according to the order; Third, the situation creation rich enough.According to research Middle School geography learning transfer capabilities, which are classified summarized as: personal factors, task factors and situational factors, and the effect of various factors on the ability of middle school geography learning transfer.Agricultural High School students for the urrent situation of migration, given the three-pronged strategies for training: first, from the aspect of the learner, to stimulate students’ interest and motivation to learn geography, culture awareness initiative to migrate; improve self-efficacy, and guide positive attribution; to overcome the mindset; construct good cognitive structure; improve metacognition; second, teachers should teach more of life to join the case; improve students’ level of generalization; teacher reasonable layout design; third, the creation of a rich teaching situation, taking into account the situation and the physical and social contexts.
