Geography learning transfer means the interaction between two learning situations in geography. Applying the ability of geography learning transfer, senior high school students can use the knowledge and skills of geography which have been learnt in new situation, so as to obtain the new knowledge more easily and efficiently; or by acquiring the current knowledge, the implementation of learning transfer can strengthen and deepen the prior knowledge of the subject further. Therefore, the cultivation of the students' learning transfer ability not only can guarantee the effectiveness of teaching, but also enable students to master learning methods, learning to learn.This thesis is based on the theory of learning transfer, and analyses the factors that influence geography learning transfer from the subject and object for further systematically analyses. The method is using questionnaire to research the object——six classes of Grade 3 in No.1 Senior School of Anyang in the geography learning transfer conditions survey, and then to analyze the survey data from psychological status, cognitive structure and transfer consciousness. Based the analysis of investigation results, the author puts forward some strategies from perspective of teaching, such as adjusting in psychological status, constructing a good geographical knowledge structure, cultivating the transfer consciousness and so on.The thesis consists of three parts:Firstly, the influencing factors of geography learning transfer are analyzed. The subjective factors are described from the perspective of the students themselves; the objective factors are described from geographic knowledge itself, teachers, etc.Secondly, the present situations of geography learning transfer investigation are analyzed. They are analyzed from the students' psychological status, cognitive structure and other three conditions.Finally, students' geography learning transfer ability strategies are fostered. They are to adjust the psychological state of students, to construct a good geographical knowledge structure, and to train the transfer consciousness of students, etc.
