Quanzhou private college A has turned itself as a specialized institution into an undergraduate college. To get further development, the college demands better teaching forces with higher qualifications and professional titles. Motivation, as one of the important reforms, works to cultivate teachers’ positive attitude as well as creativity and to exploit their potentialities. It’s good to help the college achieve better educational targets.Hereby, it will focus on the study of the motivating system in this college. Firstly, it introduce something about the study background, purposes, thinking logic and methods. Secondly, it lists out some related theories and explains some concepts. By collecting information offered by the teachers in college A with questionnaire, it analyzes the current motivating problems in college A and finds out the reasons. Base on the other colleges’ motivating experiences, it gets some useful and practical reference and revelation. Then, it offers some suggestions for college A on the setting of its motivating system according to the related principles. It mainly focuses on the college culture, teachers’ further development; practical and effective motivating system, reasonable and fair payment system, etc. Finally, it offers some ideas to guarantee the smooth operation of the system, to improve their senses of effective motivation, to courage it to invest more in teaching forces, to improve its inner management and to beautify the campus environment.
