With the rapid development of global informationization and rejuvenation of our information industry economy, the cable network embraces a great development opportunity. The development above promotes the network infrastructure to develop continually. After the reconstruction of the traditional cable TV network, the network enters a stage of double direction network upgrade, with the characteristics of optical cable spreading to customer side and a huge growth of network equipment. Various equipment brands and different network standards make it difficult to manage the whole network, and the reasons above fail to meet the requirements of network operation goals and its reliable development. Therefore, it becomes an urgent research topic to establish a unified network Resource Model to shield the differences of the different devices to achieve a shared network infrastructure data between different systems in order to form the unified management of unified network management access technology equipment.This paper summarizes the characteristics of HFC network, analyzes the SNMP protocoled HFC network management of SCTE specification HMS by combined with TCP/IP technology of network management. Based on this, we design a kind of SNMP Agent proxy server to manage the escrow network device with different custom protocols, and incorporate the elements of the collection tube HFC equipment to HFC management system completely according the unified agreement standard.Account for the access network management equipment, the paper emphasizes the key functions of equipment access technology. After studying details on equipment access technology, we develop and design agent workstation equipment in the proxy server framework and illustrate the access technology process and ways for different HFC devices in detail. We also collect the information of MOTOGX2single transmitter module by the realization of embedded SNMP Agent and the SNMP4J package, test the interface specification proxy workstation system and simulate the information collection of MOTO GX2transmitter module to reach the openness and compatibility.
