Analysis And Optimization Of The Region Distribution Of Shipbuilding Industry In Jiangsu Province

Shipbuilding industry is a strategic industry, has a vital significance to thedevelopment of national economy. Therefore, Shipbuilding industry has alwaysbeen attention by all countries.In2008, Jiangsu become the first largest province ofshipbuilding,“The12th Five Year Plan” is the key period to the construction ofshipbuilding strong province for Jiangsu, Jiangsu shipbuilding capacity is expected to reach30million ton by2015. To keep the market share of Shipbuilding completions andhandholding orders more than35%, accounting for more than15%of the world market, theexport volume of more than$40billion. Jiangsu province is the most dynamic area ofshipbuilding of the country and around the world, after a long-term high growth, Jiangsushipbuilding has reached a critical crossroads. The area layout of shipbuilding has someproblems, how to optimize the regional layout of shipbuilding industry, enhance the overallcompetitiveness of the shipbuilding industry in Jiangsu province.The main content of this paper are as follows: Jiangsu shipbuilding area layoutmainly includes: industrial layout, product layout, productivity layout, therefore thequantitative evaluation of regional distribution of Jiangsu shipbuilding will focus on threeaspects: First, what stage of Jiangsu shipbuilding industry life cycle, and what kind ofcharacteristics in the stage of industry layout; secondly, Whether shipbuilding productstructure of Jiangsu area layout is reasonable;thirdly, whether productivity layout of regionaldistribution is reasonable. The results show that the regional distribution of Jiangsu provinceshipbuilding has certain advantages: talent agglomeration advantages;shipbuilding industrialclusters and shipbuilding enterprises distribution advantage. At the same time, Jiangsushipbuilding industry has some problems: low level of product differentiation; the lack ofoverall coordination, repeat construction phenomenon obvious;regional shipbuildingcapacity obvious structural surplus.Aiming at the problems of Jiangsu shipbuilding area layout, from industrial layout,product layout, productivity layout，puts forward the corresponding optimization idea；Atthe same time, from the three aspects of government,society,enterprises,put forward thecorresponding optimization ideas and adjust Jiangsu shipbuilding are a layout, make eachregion of the shipbuilding industry give full play to their biggest advantage, realizereasonable division of labor and collaboration in the shipbuilding areas. The research can provide certain reference value for Jiangsu shipbuilding enterprisesand related departments, so as to promote the development of the shipbuilding industry inJiangsu province.
