Overall Assessment Of Industrialization,Urbanization And Agriculture Modernization Coordinated Development

Overall plan and promote industrialization, urbanization, agriculturalmodernization, walk the coordinated and developing path of the deep integration ofindustrialization, urbanization, agricultural modernization is a major task ofimplementing the scientific concept of development, promoting China’s economic andsocial coordinated development, and committing the12th Five-Year Plan of China.China is a populous country and agricultural development’s status is extremelyimportant which relates to national food security. Agriculture alone can not achievethe objective of enhancing the overall level of economic and social development. Thecoordinated development of industrialization, urbanization, agricultural modernizationis an important measure to accelerate the transformation from dual economic structureto modern economic structure, solve the industrialization, urbanization, agriculturalmodernization issue, promote social justice, crack the challenges in our country’seconomic and social development and achieve the goal of Prosperous People and aPowerful Nation.This paper takes30provinces from1998to2012as the study objects, select theevaluation system by constructing the coordinated development industrialization,urbanization, agricultural modernization, use multiple correlation coefficient, linearweighting method to measure the level of coordinated development industrialization,urbanization, agricultural modernization in China’s provinces and compare, analyzeand evaluate the level of the provinces of industrialization and urbanization, andagricultural modernization and the level of development. This paper measures andanalyzes the degree of the coordinated and harmonious development ofindustrialization, urbanization, agricultural modernization in each province byestablishing a comprehensive evaluation model. It also studies the factors affectingthe level of coordinated development by taking the coordinated developmentprovincial industrialization, urbanization, agricultural modernization as researchobject and using gray system theory GM (1, N) model. Through study of the30provinces, we can see that the overall level ofcoordinated development of industrialization, urbanization, agricultural modernizationis rising, but the development of China’s industrialization, urbanization, agriculturalmodernization lacks synchronization, urbanization and agricultural modernizationlags behind the industrialization; the regional development shows imbalance, theeastern region the highest degree of coordination, followed by the central region, thewestern region last;the coordinated development of industrialization, urbanization,agricultural modernization of the spatial variation in30provinces are largely different,large, high-quality coordinated development model including Shanghai, Jiangsu,Zhejiang and other, well-coordinated development model, including Beijing, Tianjin,Hebei, Fujian, intermediate coordinated development model including Henan, Anhui,Jiangxi, Hubei and other primary developmental coordination including Sichuan,Guizhou, barely coordinated development model, including Heilongjiang, InnerMongolia, Guangxi, on the verge of disorder type, including Gansu, and Yunnan; indifferent provinces, industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernizationaffect level of coordinated development of industrialization, urbanization, agriculturalmodernization differently, the lack of industrial development driving force is a majorfactor to low levels of coordinated development of central and western provinces.Accordingly, we propose we should adhere to industrialization, urbanization andagricultural modernization synchronous development, improve the quality of newindustrialization, give full play to its core role in promoting the development ofurbanization, continue to deepen the road to play its role in the platform, keep thepath of agricultural modernization with Chinese characteristics to play its role in thefoundation status; we should adhere to regional economic development in the easternregion and use its first-mover advantage to promote regional development in thewestern, central and western should combine their strengths, seize strategicopportunities; coordinated development should be combined with a lower level ofprovinces the basic characteristics of its type, with a corresponding improvement inthe development of a disadvantage; we should be fully aware of the role ofindustrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization in the coordination of development.
