Research On Regional Tourism Cooperation In Emergencies

The cooperation of regional tourism emergency is an essential part of tourismsafety management. Nowadays globalization of risk is challenging the emergencymanagement ability in each region across the world. Due to the increase ofinter-regional tourism emergencies and their damages, the cooperation of regionaltourism emergency is urgently indispensable, as well as facing huge challenges.Therefore, as an effective management to deal with inter-regional tourismemergencies and ensure the safety of tourism, the cooperation of regional tourismemergency is practically and theoretically important.Methodologies, such as game-theory analytical method in Economies, emergencymanagement theory, tourism safety management theory and inter-regional tourismcooperation, are cross-used in this paper, as well as theory inducing, descriptionanalysis and case study to make comprehensive and systematic analysis to thecooperation of regional tourism emergency. The general research is divided into threestages: fundamental theory study, structure study and case study.On the stage of fundamental theory study, by analyzing the realistic backgroundand historical documents, this paper defines the core concepts, e.g. inter-regionaltourism emergency management and cooperation, and clears the scope. Moreover itdefines the objects of inter-regional tourism emergency cooperation, extracts thecommonness and characteristics, and analyses the appearance, development,evolution and extinction of inter-regional tourism emergency events. Then it usesMainland and Hong Kong as examples to analyze the current situation and existingproblems in tourism emergency systems through Mainland and Hong Kong.
