In many of today’s large and medium-sized portprojects, investment and construction side, in order to reduce costs, increaseflexibility, to focus on the core business, specialized skills and technology from theoutside world, often will project the whole or part of the project design outsourcing toa vendor to complete, this behavior is called outsourcing.Based on the general principles of project risk management, methods, designprojects for the port of Tianjin Port, with its own characteristics, to a portengineering projects commissioned design outsourcing risk management, forexample, on project preparation, project organization and implementation,closeout maintenance procedures in risk analysis,proposed class project risk factors,the analysis of its causes and possible consequences of the risk identification andassessment, and finally proposes risk response measures, and the formation of thiskind of design outsourcing project risk management and response conclusions andrecommendations.Through research, the following research results and conclusions.First, the paper systematically summarizing the theoretical knowledge of projectrisk management, and project risk management processes, methods and tools to dothe highlights and some application examples are given in Chapter VIII of the case.Secondly, the main engineering outsourcing projects as the research object,according to the theories and methods of project risk management, and the author ofthe work experience of actual participation in the project, as well as the riskmanagement of such projects reference other projects outsourcing theory analysis andsummary.
