In the development of restaurants, performance management is an especially important problem. Now the competition of restaurants is not only related to the quality, price and service, but also to the talents, which means how to keep the talents. So, effective performance management is the key to the restaurants to win the market. It’s a great wealth and intangible assets to the restaurants.Many present domestic restaurants are lack of systematic performance management model and many problems and defects still exist in the management process. There are no reasonable performance projects; employees are lack of enthusiasm of participating in the performance management; managers and employees are lack of being trained and communication on performance management projects, etc. This paper illustrates the XX restaurant in Sichuan as a case study, and analyses the performance management of the restaurant.
