The Status, Potential And Sustainable Development Of Fishery Industry In Shanmei Reservoir

The fish area of Shanmei reservoir was13.33km2, and the average water depth was15m.There were7phyla and69species of phytoplankton in Shanmei reservoir, which thebiomass was2.98mg/L.The reservoir of filter feeding fish (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) of thefishery potential was7.508×105kg. There were39planktonic animal,which the biomass was3.9794mg/L, Aristichthys nobilis fish potential production was1.9892×106kg. The were10families37species of fish in Shanmei reservoir. The catching method was usually used two-boxsetting nets (made by the wing net, net, tongue before box and a post box and eight net of fiveparts), and there was a steady increase in production. From2002to2011, Shanmei reservoirfishing in total output reaches4.7118×106kg, in2010the yield was the highest, up to5.008×105kg.Analysising the influence of the seasonal variation of Shanmei reservoir catch, the mainfactors were water temperature change, the characteristics of fishing nets and the benefit., thepaper put forward some suggestions from three aspects of the net structure, mode of operationand the fisheries management by combining with the actual Shanmei reservoir fisheryproductionThe paper finally put forward the Countermeasures of Shanmei reservoir Fisheriesdevelopment: Shanmei reservoir fisheries development should be positioned in the consolidationand development of stock enhancement project, guiding and regulating the recreational fishingproject, proposing some advices on the establishment of water conservation fishery mode, theadjustment of fishing and increasing the specifications types of fishfry.
