Subjective well-being has been the hot topics in the study of psychology, sociology, management science in recent years. The subjective well-being is not only an important standard to measure individual life quality, but also reflects a country’s development. At present, a lot of research on subjective well-being has focused on building its internal structure and analyzing its influencing factors. There are a lot of researches treat teachers and medical personal as the object, but there is no research focus on commercial bank employees’subjective well-being.With the development of the globalization of Chinese economy, commercial banks face enormous internal and external competition. Commercial bank staff also encountered unprecedented challenges such as heavy work task, the high request from customers. The research of this part of group’s job stress, subjective well-being helps bank managers take effective measures to improve the staff’s work enthusiasm and affect the whole organization performance.The research use three questionnaires to evaluate commercial bank employees’job stress, social support and subjective well-being level. Then we will discuss the relationship among the three variables, especially the mediation effect of social support. On the basis of the result, we will put forward countermeasures to the commercial bank managers.According to the results, the main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1) Commercial bank employee’s job stress and social support are in a moderate level, the degree of subjective well-being is in the average level. The main stress of the commercial bank employee is work pressure, and the instrumental support is the most support received from outside.(2) There are significant differences in gender, age, post type, educational status among the commercial bank employee’s work stress, social support and subjective well-being. At18to45, job stress increases with the growth of the age and social support decreases with the increase of age. The group of35to44years old has the highest degree of subjective well-being. On the variable of post type, the leaders have the highest job stress, social support and objective well-being. On the variable of educational status, the employee’s social support level increases as the growth of the degree.(3) The job stress is negatively correlated with social support and subjective well-being, and social support is positively correlated with subjective well-being.(4) Social support serves as the partial mediator between work pressure and subjective well-being...
