Research On The Impact Of Economic Pressure And Social Support On The Venture Withdraw

There are few literatures about predicting the behaviors of entrepreneurs in hard economic times,which mostly indicates some negative psychological effects on entrepreneurs during economic recession.Entrepreneurs are a special group,based on the theory of learned helplessness,whose psychological state and entrepreneurial exit intention are closely related.The purpose of this paper is to discuss whether social support is able to cushion against the negative impact of entrepreneurs caused by economic pressures based on the background of economic pressure.The main problems to be solved in this research are: what is the impact of economic pressure on entrepreneurs? Which path is this effect through to play the role of it? The study is conducted among 305 national individual entrepreneurs,collecting data by their filling in the form of a questionnaire survey.We finally obtain a total of 201 effective samples.After that we use spss21.0 to test the data reliability,conduct validity,proceed correlation and regression analysis.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)the economic pressure is positively correlated with the intention to withdraw from the entrepreneurial intention.(2)the stronger the social support,the weaker the positive relationship between the economic pressure and the exit of the venture.(3)the stronger the social support utilization degree,the weaker the positive relationship between the economic pressure and the exit of the venture.This study shows that high social support could significantly weaken the positive relationship between economic pressure and entrepreneurial exit,and social support of the significant regulatory roles realized through its third sub-dimension.According to Xiao Shuiyuan's theory of social support,the three sub-dimensions of social support include objective support not transferred by human will,subjective support directly affected by people's judgements and utilization of social support.Empirical results show that the subjective support and objective support regulation effect tests have not been verified in this paper.The regulation effect of support utilization is very significant,and the adjustment effect diagram shows that the significant adjustment effect changes the direction of the relationship between economic pressure and venture exit.Entrepreneurs should correct understanding of entrepreneurial environment such as economic pressure,take a positive attitude to mobilize social support material resources and emotional resources,face up to the economic pressure.Entrepreneurs should not only concern surrounding social network of social support,but also increase the social support utilization degree which will greatly assist in reducing individual exit entrepreneurial intention.
