| Transportation is an important factor to affect development of regional economy and regional cooperation, and a prerequisite to ensure normal operation of economic activity. It is also an important support and guarantee for the orderly operation of a society. Relationship between transportation and regional economy has always been an important part of economics, political science and international relations. As one of the most important members of ASEAN, Vietnam has been actively promoting the process of ASEAN integration since it jointed the ASEAN in1995. Vietnam takes advantage of unique regional geographical advantages to give full play to its connectivity of transportation capacity between China and ASEAN, and actively participate in comprehensive cooperation between China and ASEAN. It has made important contributions for the relationship between China and ASEAN and economic prosperity.This thesis consists of the following several parts:the first part; The introduction. The introduction part mainly introduced the research purpose and meaning, the preliminary illuminates the build Vietnam for China-ASEAN regional cooperation of the transport hub of research status at home and abroad, research ideas and methods and the innovation of the paper. The second part:introduction to the theory of regional cooperation and development in transport. Through the development of transportation and regional development and cooperation of the dialectical relationship between comb, with a number of regional integration model of successful cases in the world to further affirmation the traffic infrastructure development on the important role of promoting regional cooperation. The third part:about relations between China and ASEAN cooperation. Through a comprehensive combing shows that China and ASEAN cooperation in political, economic and other fields get all-round development, has achieved fruitful results. Underdeveloped transportation infrastructure, however, is not complete and not open land cohesion has hindered the cooperation between China and ASEAN area. The last parts is mainly introducing Vietnam superior geographical position and make it a regional hub. Finally through the analysis of the carding, and puts forward the Vietnam is between China and ASEAN regional cooperation to build a transport hub. With the rise of regional cooperation after the Cold War, the process of China-ASEAN integration has also started. The integration provides lots of benefits for China and ASEAN, such as economy prosperity, personnel exchanges and regional stability. However, the backward status of Vietnam’s transportation infrastructure hampers the process of China-ASEAN integration. It does not meet bilateral interests. The thesis firstly analyses the impact of transportation development to regional cooperation. Meanwhile learn from other countries transportation successful experiences in regional cooperation, particular in the transportation integration of European Union and the North American. In addition, the thesis comprehensively analyzes the status and conditions in transportation integration between China and ASEAN, and find out some restraining factors in bilateral cooperation. Finally, it puts forward the idea that building Vietnam to be a transportation junction between China and ASEAN. |
