On The Intervention And Application Of Enterprise Social Work

After the Reform and Opening up, China’s small and medium-sized privateenterprises have sprung up. At present, China’s enterprises are now facing two challengesbrought by globalization and domestic transition of economy and society. However, thesmall and medium-sized private enterprises are more unprepared faced with thesechallenges because of the existence of some management problems and the ignoredemployees’ personal problems compared with large and state-owned enterprises. TheEnterprise Social Work, which is the application of social work practice, can handle theseemployees’ problems more easily. This paper aims to present how to apply EnterpriseSocial Work into the management of small and medium-sized private enterprises byfocusing research on the origin and development of Enterprise Social Work (also calledIndustrial Social Work), analyzing the necessity and feasibility of applying it andaddressing the problems during the process.Literature analysis and interviews are the main study methods applied in this paper.The paper consists of five parts. The introduction mainly introduces the domestic andforeign research achievements and methods. Chapter1is the general introduction ofEnterprise Social Work and its operation mode. Chapter2analyzes the necessity of thesocial work application from three aspects: the inherent characteristics, enterprise socialwork and enterprise staff management. Besides, the existing problems in managementfurther proves the necessity of applying it. Chapter3analyzes the feasibility of theEnterprise Social Work application form apace, social work methods and specific angles.The last Chapter analyzes the problems involved in the application of Enterprise SocialWork and provides some solutions to these problems. One of the problems, which is worthto mentioning, is the conflict resulted from different union works. And the way of dealingthis problem will be analyzed into five small aspects. Finally this paper introduces the thethree main ways of applying Enterprise Social Work into small and medium-sized privateenterprises.
