The recreational fishery is in the ascendant and become popular in the world. The core is toachieve the fishery production, social and economic development, as well as organic harmonybetween human and nature. Economic, cultural and ecological characteristics are emphasized inthe newly green industry. it has fully integrated the funds, personnel, technology, managementand other aspects of resource advantages. By virtue of technology diversification, modernizationof production and service of humanity, this has become the vital direction of development of themodern fisheries.The method of the research includes literature review and questionnaire survey. Bycollecting and summarizing the experience of the development of recreational fishery from bothdomestic and overseas, comprehensive analysis was applied to various aspects and investigatingthe status quo of Liancheng county recreational fishing, and was proposed to the development ofits recreational fishing should combine the exceptional advantage of the tourism resources,emphasis to be more localized, diversified, and interesting, in order to establish a modernrecreational fishery system that matches the abundant tourist county, achieving thetransformation of the fisheries development from traditional to modern, the mutual benefitbetween the tourist industry and the recreational fisheries. The suggestions are as follows:1. To accelerates the appearance of “Liancheng county Regulations on Administration ofRecreational Fishery" and the Suggestion of the People’s Government of Liancheng county ofAccelerating the Developments of Recreational Fisheries", and thus to further enhance thehierarchies and size of its recreational fishing industries.2. By analyzing the plan and scientifically arranging Liancheng county’s recreationalfishery was divided into four districts with different functionalities: such as breeding fishing,leisure fishing, pet fishing and complex recreational fishery. Different villages should base ontheir local conditions to develop the recreational fishery.3. The recreational fishery should connect the tourist industry together, establish brand ofrecreational fishery and make it to be beneficial, and make the resources more optimized, inorder to accelerate the process of the industrialization.
