With the rapid development of our economy, enterprises increasingly fierce competition.Warehouse management has become the enterprises to improve the competitive ability, strategy of sustainable development.So the various circles of society have paid great attention to study, the practice of warehouse management aspects.The large thermal power plant is very high to the production safety, continuity and therefore need a large number of long-term reserve supplies of spare parts. At the same time, thermal power generating units to600MW,1000MW level development, Inventory costs continue to increase, increasing the enterprise burden. In addition, the plant produced goods, power has particularity can not be stored, the production and use of link flash conversion, transmission and power supply reliability is an important political issues related to economic development, the lives of citizens. Therefore, warehouse management is not only the enterprise internal management problems, but also the social security comprehensive power and economic development. The new large thermal power plant, put into operation after the task is arduous, owing on the loan is subject to the price of coal enterprises, the enterprise profit space is small. Because of this, warehouse management and thermal power plant more attention, how to improve storage efficiency, compression storage management cost has become the enterprise imminent problem.Based on the author’s own work experience, and as study objects for the HaiGang plant storage management to discuss the status of the storage management, from the five aspects of staffing, infrastructure, inventory control, warehousing information management, material coding, and analyses the existing problems, and carry out a practical analysis to these problems demand. Based on the above analysis, in the warehouse layout optimization, the reasonable control of inventory, the development of incentive management mechanism, staff training and other aspects, proposes measures to optimize the warehouse management in line with the current situation of manpower and funds. Finally, the paper made the evaluations to the optimized storage management after the implementation of the HaiGang power plant.
