With the developing of deepening specialization, logistics industry isa very production of modern society. And it is an "accelerator" and "thethird profit source" which promotes economic development. Sometimes,it is a measure of a country’s level of development and internationalcompetitiveness. In recent years, China’s logistics industry has begun totake shape along with the pace of reform and opening up, after twentyyears of development. Due to the backward historical development oflogistics enterprises in China and lack of resources and experience, mostlogistics enterprises in China’s logistics market are small and mediumenterprises. These small scale and less competitive logistics enterprisesimprove their competitive advantages and business performance mostlythrough the integration of resources.Many scholars have done a lot study for this issue, the angle of thesestudies vary somewhat stressed logistics enterprises integrate resourcesfrom external environment, and emphasize on the integration of resourcesfrom the internal environment. However, the development of things is theresult of internal and external interaction. Therefore, we emphasize theexternal factors, but also pay attention to the analysis of internal factorsand external factors together, to fully analyze the impact of small andmedium logistics enterprises’ integration of resource to their businessperformance and competition. This paper researches the integration ofresources’ influence to their competitive advantage and businessperformance. And the paper builds logistics enterprise resourceintegration—competitive advantage—Corporate Performance theoreticalmodel of logistics, by dividing logistics enterprise resource integrationinto four dimensions: Customer resource integration, information integration, the ability to integrate resources and resource integration.After reading a large number of literatures, the author surveyedoperators and relevant experts, scholars of small and medium-sizedlogistics enterprises in Hunan province. The article concludes thatlogistics enterprise resource integration can promotes the enterprisecompetitive advantage, and improves the enterprise performance, but theinfluence of logistics enterprise resource integration of the fourdimensions to its competitive advantage still has to improve, which maybe helpful to the sustainable development of small and medium-sizedlogistics enterprises in China.
