Labor relationship is an important impact factor of the labor productivity, cost, profit, and also the development of national economy. As the most common social relationship, the harmonious labor relationship is the foundation of harmonious society, and will directly related to the process of building " socialist harmonious society" of our country.As the transformation of economic system, the private economy has made rapid development. At the same time, it takes the task of absorb employment. By the end of2012, there are more than121million people working in private enterprises. It is about45.7%of urban employed population. So, the stable of labor relationship of private enterprise is the basic of social stability.But in recent years, more and more labor disputes happened in private enterprises. In2011, there are1757cases of labor disputes in private enterprises, taking75.41%of all the labor disputes in Chengdu. Because of the large population, the labor disputes not only make profit losses, restrict the development of social economy, and may also cause social unrest, affect the harmonious operation of society.This study’s literature review including three parts:private enterprises, harmonious labor relationship, and comments on labor relationship. Based on the existing theories and research framework, combined with the current economic development situation and the labor relationship status in private enterprises, this study analyze the affecting factors of labor relationship in private enterprises of Chengdu. Getting factors’ important degree from interview and questionnaire, screening evaluation index from membership degree and factor analysis, determining the index weight by hierarchy analysis, this study built an effective evaluation index system on labor relationship in private enterprises of Chengdu. In the process of research, there are three kinds of research methods. The first one is literature study, getting materials from library, databases and government reports. The second one is interviews and questionnaires, to screen the indexes. The last research method is statistical analysis, including membership degree analysis, correlation analysis and hierarchy analysis.The study comes to the following conclusions:1. Through the external environment analysis of Chengdu, draws the following conclusions:the labor disputes caused by compensation is an outstanding problem currently; social security system for labor is not perfect; the employment situation is relatively stable; labor is still the vulnerable groups; most labor disputes happen in private enterprise.2. There are7affecting factors of labor relationship. They are the contract situation, satisfaction of salary, working environment, business management situation, unions and democratic participation, labor dispute and personal development.3. Through membership degree analysis and correlation analysis, we screened out30evaluation indexes of labor relationships, and to determine the weight of evaluation index by hierarchy analysis.The study includes six parts. Chapter1is basic introduction. Chapter2is literature reviews. Chapter3is analyzing on current situation of private enterprises in Chengdu. Chapter4designed the evaluation index of labor relationship in private enterprises of Chengdu. Then, chapter5is about the using of evaluation index. Chapter6is the ending part, getting conclusions and giving suggestions.
