Study On The Effect Of Energy Consumption Structure On China’s Energy Security

Energy is the material basis of human activities and economic development. Beforethe large-scale industrialization, people pay little attention to energy because of humanlimited activities and less energy consumption. With the acceleration of the industrializationprocess, the issue of energy security plays a more and more important role among energyrelated topics. This problem will be more prominent with the further development of theworld economy. Studies on energy security mainly focus on qualitative analysis on energysecurity, or construction of energy security warning based on the influence analysis ofenergy security. Other researches focused on the energy security prediction. The paper triesto analyze the influence factors of energy security and analyse the influence degree ofdifferent consumption structure on energy security from energy consumption structureperspective, and puts forward the countermeasures to improve China’s energy security atlast.In accordance with the “energy structure and energy security based theory--energyconsumption structure and energy security current situation analysis--analysis of theenergy security factors affecting--index system construction of energy security andregression analysis--research on energy security countermeasures” logical thinking. Thefirst chapter mainly introduces the background and researching status of energy structureand energy security constraint under low carbon economy,and finds the breakthroughpoint which from energy consumption structure angle analysis influence direction andinfluence degree to energy security, and points out the research methods and the innovationpoints of this paper. The second chapter discusses the energy structure and energy securitytheories. The third chapter analyzes the current situation of China’s energy structure andenergy sucurity. The fourth chapter analyses the various affecting factors on energy security,and analysis of their impact mechanism and influence direction. The fifth chapter constructthe index system of energy security at first, and make the regression analysis betweenenergy consumption structure and energy security and come to conclusion at last. The mainconclusions are as follows:(1) the influence of coal, oil and natural gas consumptionstructure on energy supply security and usage security is negative, otherwise the influenceof electric power consumption structure on energy supply security and usage security ispositive;(2) Coal, oil and natural gas consumption structure have a negative impact onenergy supply security, and the coal has the least impact, the oil bigger and the natural gasis the biggest. The influence of electric power on energy supply security is bigger than theother three influence power;(3) Coal, oil and natural gas consumption structure have anegative impact on energy usage security, and the coal has the biggest impact, the oil is smaller, the natural gas is the least. The influence power of electric power consumptionstructure is smallest but positive. The electric power in the energy consumption structure inthe proportion is low and has a larger space to promote in the future. According to theresults of the regression analysis propose countermeasures to enhance China energysecurity at last.
