Rural Residents Land Suitability Evaluation Of Changxing County Based On GIS Technology

The topic of this paper comes from the National Natural Science Fund Item "Researchon public service facilities layout optimization of rural intensive economy developedarea living mode (51278329)".Rural residential land suitability evaluation is animportant basic work in the construction of new country-side reasonably determinethe suitable land use will have a major impact on the overall layout of rural residents,the social and economic development. Because of land suitability acted by manyfactors, the factors influencing the evaluation target (i.e. the weight of differentevaluation-method), qualitative are not quantitative in suitable difference, whichmakes the evaluation with greater subjectivity. In order to provide a reliable basis forthe construction of new countryside, it is necessary to explore a suitable method forrural residential land quantitative evaluation.The rapid development of computer technology and application of GIStechnology gradually mature for city planning from qualitative analysis toquantitative analysis of the foundation. Based on the analysis of the researchsummarized in this paper, it discusses the rural residential land suitabilityevaluation method based on the GIS technology.This paper consists of seven chapters:The first chapter, the research background, research purpose and meaning,research content and technical route are discussed;The second chapter, it analyses and summarize the literature of rural residentialland;The third chapter, from the present situation of the study area, it analyzes thepresent situation of residential land scale and distribution;The fourth chapter, from the present situation factor and policy factor，itanalyses the terrain, river, road, a few relevant policy factors which effect on theresidential land;The fifth chapter, it summarizes the rural residential land use factors, and selectssome appropriate factors to construct the index system, finally，it confirms theevaluation model;The sixth chapter, based on the GIS technology, it evaluates the rural residents ofChangxing County, and analyzes the evaluation results briefly;The seventh chapter, it summarizes the full text and prospects the next workpoints.
