Study On County Economy Development In Xinjiang To Expand Domestic Demand

Consumption is the ultimate goal of production and the end-result, not only thesource of the social reproduction. With the rapid development of China’s economic andsocial, pay more attention to promoting consumption for economic stability andsustainable development of drive. Therefore, how to promote the residents’ consumptionto expand domestic demand has become the focus of attention and hot. The consumptionstructure is the main part of consumption economics, the study of the consumptionstructure marked the residents’ consumption situation during a certain period. Xinjiang is abig agricultural province, more than30years of reform and opening-up, economicdevelopment has made great achievements in xinjiang, has made great improveurbanization construction, urban residents consumption level unceasing enhancement,consumption idea and consumption patterns also gradually from the basic change to ahigher level, the traditional consumption concept.In this paper, on the basis of the related theory for the study of consumer economy,urban residents in xinjiang as the research object, mainly from the vertical and horizontaldirections of xinjiang urban residents’ consumption structure change rule and developingtrend is studied. Using the extended linear expenditure system (ElES) model, from theperspective of marginal propensity to consume and income elasticity of consumption tomake an empirical analysis of the consumption structure of town residents. Through theabove analysis was based on reasonable consumption structure of the standard, from1993to2012between the xinjiang urban residents’ consumption structure from the physicalstructure, social structure and economic structure made a reasonable evaluation. Finally,find out the problems existing in the urban residents’ consumption structure, and aimed atthese problems put forward the related countermeasure Suggestions to promote theconsumption structure rationalization.
