The core competitiveness of company is staffs, and the salary system is the mostimportant fact of company to attract and retain excellent staffs. A company is a state-ownedpower plant founded in1935, also give heating and cooling sevice to some large users.Because of power generators are service a long time and their capacity is small, so theirefficiency and competitiveness is weak in the market, it’s make the company in a highcompetitive pressure and the policy of environmental and emissions from goverment is moreand more strict. All these make the company want to reform to the distributed gas energystation system.In order to attract the excellent staff in the highly competitive human resourcemarket, maintian and encourage them work hard for the company, set up an attractive salarysystem base on performance review is necessary.This thesis explains some theories, models of salary system and the new trend of modernsalary management development first. The second is described the overall environment andhuman resources management system of A company. The thesis introduces detail informationof current salary system and performance management system of A company, and analysisand optimaize the organizational structure by the requirement of current situation. At the sametime to evaluate and analyze the current salary system by the on-the-spot investigation andquestionnaire method, identify problems and demonstrates the necessity of the optimized ofcurrent salary system. Then provides detail informations of the direction of salary systemoptimization design.Next, the thesis according to the development strategy of A company, make the salarystrategy and the salary structure by the quantitative methods for evaluating the position.Through the salary design theory of science to optimaize the salary system and performancemanagement system that aim to the existing problems. Finaly, the thesis made a plan based onvalue of post to optimize the salary system of A company. All of these are practical and alsoprovided a reference for other companys to resolve similar problems.Salary management system to achieve three major functions of human resourcemanagement: The first is help to achieve the strategic goal and get the competition advantageof company; the second is make staff feel satisfied and have chance to realize their potentialand; the third is keep a fair in the company and make a better labor relation.
