Talents competition becomes the kernel of international competition. The success ofinternationalization strategy relies on talents ultimately. In recent years, as a positive responseto the strategy of “Two Resources, Two Markets” and “Go Abroad” proclaimed by the CPCCentral Committee, China’s oil enterprises achieved gratifying achievements. Such as,expanding overseas markets, establishing overseas oil production base, forming internationalcooperation and extending technical exchange. As an important oil industrial base of easternChina, Shengli Oilfield’s has taken the lead in internationalizing for nearly20years. ButShengli Oilfield still have to focus on the training of international talents in order to surviveand develop in the fierce market competition. Talents training, as one of the core functions ofHRM (human resource management), plays a crucial role in the success of the internationalbusiness strategy and sustainable development. Therefore, this paper studies how tostrengthen and improve the methods and countermeasures of the international talents trainingin Shengli Oilfield, and train a group of international compound talents of “practical skill,foreign language skill, communication skill" to enhance the overall quality of internationaltalents and the ability of competing in international markets.This paper proposes the methods and countermeasures to improve the internationaltalents training in Shengli Oilfield through analyzing the differences of international trainingbetween domestic and foreign oil companies and summarizing the present situation andproblems of international talents training in Shengli Oilfield. Mainly includes five parts:exploring and establishing the mechanisms of international talents training, innovatingmethods of the international talents training, expanding the content of international talentstraining, extending the participants of international talents training, optimizing the allocationof international training resources. This paper makes a tentative study of international talentstraining in Shengli Oilfield. The author hopes that this paper will contribute something inenhancing the effectiveness of international talents training, improve the level of humanresources management, approach the target of the “Be World-class, Take the Lead”, speed upthe pace of international marketing, and provide a useful reference to domestic oil companiesand other industries.
