The Research On Effect Of Human Capital On Landless Peasants’ Citizenization

At present, China is in a rapid advance stage of urbanization and industrialization.Whether is the urbanization infrastructure construction, or industrial park construction resulta lot of land to be expropriated, and result a large number of landless peasants must to befaced citizenization situation. But for a long time, because of the urban and rural developmentis not balanced, and farmers own limited conditions make landless peasants are at lower levelsof knowledge and skills. However, nowaday in the rapid development of urbanization andindustrialization, the upgrading of the industrial structure and the development of hightechnology have more the requirements of human capital. While landless peasants humancapital limits them to get better employment opportunities,and result them difficult to adapt tothe modern city industrial development requirements and to modern city public successfully.Meanwhile the most important to urbanization is to realize people’s urbanization. And withthe increasing scale of landless peasants, landless peasants’ citizenization has becomeincreasingly important.How to realize the landless peasants citizenization is the key to achieving the harmoniousdevelopment of the society. And the role of human capital on peasants employment is moreprominent. So this article from the perspective of human capital, investigated landless farmersin Yushan County by questionnaires to collect data to have empirical analysis. Use SPASSfactor analysis to determine the three main components of human capital and citizenization,that is the knowledge, skills, health and quality of life, social integration and thepsychological identification. After correlation analysis, we found a significant correlation ofhuman capital and citizenization, but it should be further verified. Then this paper introducesthe intermediary variables--nonfarm employment. On the basis of relevant theory, the paperestablish the model structure of human capital and non-agricultural employment andurbanization, to use AMOS to verify the significant influence of human capital on the landlesspeasants citizenization. And the gender and age also has certain influence on a human capitaland citizenization. Moreover as the intermediary variables, non-agricultural employmentplays a partial mediating effect on the impact of human capital on the citizenization. Finally,the relevant suggestions of landless peasants citizenization is proposed from the perspectiveof human capital. It should strengthen the farmer human capital and promot farmeremployment by raising farmers’ citizens quality, occupation quality, skill level and payingattention to the farmer health. Meanwhile It should transform landless farmers idea toestablish a positive view of employment, and improve the employment service system, encourage peasants entrepreneurship.
