With the deepening of reform and opening up and the correct guidance of nationalmacroeconomic policies, China’s construction industry has been rapidly and healthilydeveloping. The vigorous development of the construction industry makes the constructionmarket competition increasingly fierce. Some scholars began to think that it is feasible thatthe supply chain management theory is applied in the construction industry, so they carriedout the relevant theoretical research for the construction industry supply chain managementfrom a different perspective. At the same time, China’s construction market is graduallyintegrating with the international standards. The management of construction projects hasgradually been turning from the traditional management to the international advancedmanagement. China began to try to implement general contracting mode1in1980s. Aftermore than20years of development, China’s construction industry and the generalcontracting market have made considerable progress and development, but there are stillmany problems. Firstly, relevant laws are faulty. Secondly, each main body of the projectdon’t have enough awareness of the risks and strong control measures in the process ofgeneral contracting. These lead to lots of potential risks and uncertainties in theimplementation process of construction general contracting project. Particularly in thegeneral contracting mode, the various numbers of the supply chain and complexrelationships not only lead that a building supply chain network chain structure becomescomplex, but also increase the risk of the supply chain, so that the general contractorundertook most of the risks of construction supply chain. Based on this, this paper try tostudy the risk of construction supply chain based on the general contracting mode.Firstly, this article reviews the construction supply chain theories and several basicmodes of construction general contracting. On this basis, it divides into upstream anddownstream ones from the perspective of the main body of construction general contracting,analyzes the operation process separately, and constructs the structural model ofconstruction supply chain based on general contracting model. Secondly, the paperidentifies the risks of construction supply chain based on general contracting by using themethod of flow chart analysis from the perspective of process, and identifies the potentialrisk links and the specific risk factors. Then, the paper establishes the contraction supplychain risk assessment index system based on general contracting model, and determines theindex weight by using the method of group decision making based on AHP, and establishesthe contraction supply chain fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model based on generalcontracting. This can provide reference for general contracting enterprises to assess risk factors and identify key risk. Finally, the model is verified through a specific case, andsome supply chain risk prevention measures are given according to the assessment results.
