Research On The Construction Of New-type Urbanization In Huiji District Of Zhengzhou City

With the rapid development of the social and economy, urbanization which has been a key factor to stimulate the vitality of the economy and the only way to modernization, has become more and more significant for breaking the dual economic structure of urban and rural areas under the conventional system and solving the problems concerning peasants, agriculture and countryside. However,there are many problems in the process of development of urbanization, such as the unbalance in the economy, the serious environmental pollution and resource waste as well as the public service facilities inadequate and so on, which requires us to change the traditional extensive pattern of urbanization and carry out a new way which is guided by the view of scientific development during the development of new-type urbanization. We must break the traditional ideology of urbanization which increases the urban population and areas only, but realize that the comprehensive reform in industry support, living environment, social insurance and life style, that is the basic solution to convert the land urbanization to the urbanization of human people.The Huiji District of Zhengzhou city which is a typical agricultural district has large territory, agricultural population, rich resources as well as great potential and vast development prospects. Meanwhile,it also undertakes the difficult responsibility for protecing the 9890 hactares of cultivated land. Over the years, Huiji District which aims to bulid a city of more livable and suitable employment as well as tourism district, has gradually achieved economy and society development in harmony, pleasant and convenient residential environment as well as more perfect scientific public service system, maked more and more peasantry sharing the social development achivements by promoting the new-type urbanization.This study takes the scientific development theory as the theoretical tools to research the new-type urbanization of Huiji District. The author who has researched the achievements and analyzed the problems and constraints in comprehensive on the development of new-type urbanization of Huiji District during the years, has puted forward purposeful refection measures on the development of new-type urbanization from the point of strengthening the economic basic, promoting the ability of government public service, improving and perfecting land system, coordinating urban-rural distribution, taking greater efforts on the development and protection of eco-environment as well as historical–cultural resources and so on. Only then can the Huiji District gradually take a pratical path of a new four-unity urbanization style that should be suitable for people’s living condition, public service, employment structure and consumption on the development of new-type urbanization in the future.
