Research On The Benefit Mechanism Of Poor People In National Tourism Based On The Empowerment Theory

The development of national tourism, is considered as an effective way to promote the social, economic, and cultural development, what’s more, it’s a new means of poverty alleviation. However, the survey found, tourism has promoted development in many areas, but the poor did not benefit from the development of tourism, and are marginalized, state of forgetfulness, therefore, it is necessary to research the question whether the poverty is benefit from the development of tourism in ethnic tourism ar ea. This paper thinks the reason why poverty population can’t benefit from the tourism development is that they lack of rights. Therefore, this article from the theory of empowerment, using literature analysis, questionnaire survey and the structure equation model and other research methods, construct the poor benefit mechanism from the perspective of empowerment to increase the opportunity for the poor to benefit in ethnic tourism area.The main research contents include:(1) Analysis of the current tourism development poverty benefit of the present situation and the domestic and foreign related research, to lay a solid theoretical basis for the research on the benefit mechanism of poor people in national tourism;(2) Construction the model of po verty benefit mechanism based on empowerment theory, analysis of restricted poverty benefit factors of the ethnic tourism and empowerment theory, from informational empowerment, institutional empowerment, educational empowerment, social empowerment and psychological empowerment building the theoretical model, and put forward the hypothesis on the relationship between the relevant variables in the model;(3) The empirical research model, selected the Songping Valley Scenic Area as the research sample, using SPSS21.0, AMOS21.0 set up the structural equation model to analysis the survey data, and verify the hypothesis test between the variables in the model, that is: the poor informational empowerment, institutional empowerment, social empowerment, psychological empowerment and educational empowerment can help to reduce transaction costs, increase social capital and improve the ability to participate, and ultimately increase the economic benefits, environmental benefits and social benefits;(4) put forward the empowerment path for poor people in national tourism, and points out that the informational empowerment promote information transparency, institutional empowerment established assignment mechanism, social empowerment to improve community cohesion, psychological empowerment increasing poverty the sense of ownership equity, educational empowerment to improve the poor service skills;(5) The operation of the mechanism, through the establishment of power, transmission and security mechanism, to ensure effective operation of the mechanism.
