Since the reform and opening-up,more and more foreign enterprise has achieved great development in China. They have made great contribution to the national economy development, technological level and management level increase. In the meanwhile, it becomes common in foreign enterprise that culture differences cause culture conflict causes to affect company’s normal operations even lead to failure. How to deal with the cross-cultural conflicts and how to effective management for cross-cultural conflicts is very important to the sustainable and healthy development of foreign enterprise. So the cross-cultural management is more and more received by the foreign enterprise managers and scholars.In the paper, the cross-cultural research as the starting point aims to compare the eastern and western culture from several aspects,analyzes their differences. Explore performances and root causes of cross-cultural conflicts for foreign enterprise, and combining my working experience in Caterpillar(Qingzhou) Ltd. To study the general pattern of cross-cultural conflicts for foreign enterprise. The study try to design the management methods for resolving cross-cultural conflicts of Caterpillar(Qingzhou) Ltd.The paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is introduction, which introduce study background and significance, research contents and techniques. The second chapter is theory summary of cross-cultural research, which mainly introduce cross-cultural research status, meaning of culture and national culture, enterprise cultural diversity, theory of cross-culture and cross-culture conflicts. The third chapter is introduce management status and cross-cultural conflicts of Caterpiller(Qingzhou) Ltd. The fourth chapter is analysis to cross-cultural conflicts of Caterpiller(Qingzhou) Ltd. And conclusion. The fifth chapter is counter measures for solving cross-cultural conflicts of Caterpiller(Qingzhou) Ltd. The counter measures include that enhance cross-culture understanding and communication, build enterprise culture of integration and innovation, solutions for culture conflicts of management thoughts, solutions for culture conflicts of management behavior, guide and utilize culture difference. The six chapter is conclusion, which summarize the study of the article and point out insufficient and improvement of the paper.
