Research On The Structure Of Collective Forestland Market And Its Causes In Tonggu County Of Jiangxi Province

As the new round of collective forest tenure reform being advanced in China, forestland transfer is getting more and more academic attention. Related studies have already made some progress, but the study is still in its infancy stage. Almost all the existing studies on forestland transfer are based on farmer level instead of market level. This study will use market perspective to analyze the structure and its causes of forestland transfer market, to reveal the problems of transfer market development comprehensively, to supply the existing studies, and provide reference for the related research in the future.First, this study makes full use of relevant studies, and constructs a theoretical framework to analyze the structure of forestland transfer market based on market perspective, in order to provide a theoretical basis for the quantitative study in the following text. Second, set Tonggu County of Jiangxi Province as the study area, clarify the basic status and characteristics of local forestland transfer market, and explore the existence problems in local transfer market. Third, use comparative analysis to do quantative research of forestland resouses and transfer mode, and use logit models to explore the causes of differences. This study shows that farmers prefer forestland of long term. Institute subject unanimously chose internal transfer mode, while farmers chose different modes as their characteristcs vary. Fourth, use Logit model to analyze the impact on famers’transfer behavior based on plot perspective. This study shows that forestland resouses and forest management variables have the most significant impact. Fifth, use case analysis, comparative analysis and Logit models to explore the impact on transfer willing of different subjects, in order to estimate the development trend of forestland transfer market. This study shows that transfer will is growing and farmers characteristics and market drivers have the most significant impact on individual transfer will.Based on the above analysis, this thesis comes up with following conclusions:first, develop the intermediary services; second, establish scientific and reasonable transfer system; third, increase the advocacy of forestry policy; fourth, improve supporting measures of forestland transfer; fifth, establish and perfect the forestland transfer market.
