How to improve the industrial competitiveness of enterprises, is an important part of the R&D management capacity, optimize the product development process, from the front of the product life cycle to start, not only can improve the product quality and market acceptance, but also can reduce the cost of production. HJ company is a manufacturer of industrial equipment and control device of state owned enterprises. In this paper, through the analysis of the development process of the enterprise, based on the characteristics of military enterprises, puts forward the problems and shortcomings of the R&D process.Six Sigma Theory and method is to achieve high quality and efficient operation of the superior tool. Design for six sigma (Design For Six Sigma, referred to as DFSS) is a method of Six Sigma system driven by information, usually used in the early product development process, the DFSS design by emphasizing the shorten development cycle and reduce the cost, the development of new products, product development process efficient, accurate customer requirements can reaction. The DMADV method is one of the main methods of DFSS, is a suitable for solution there is no process or process a serious shortage of capacity and new process problems.In this paper, based on interviews of HJ enterprise existing R&D process analysis and business related personnel, clear the HJ company existing R&D process optimization direction, a new design and development process by using the DMADV method. The results of this study reasonable configuration for HJ enterprises and even the whole industry and improve product quality, strengthen enterprise management, reduce production costs, enhance competitiveness, is of great practical significance.
