Study Of The New Agricultural Business Entities’ Fostering Of Anhui Province

Based on the traditional agriculture characterized by family business as its main body, NABE is a new agricultural management organization chiefly represented by professional investors, family farms, professional farmers’cooperatives, model entrepreneurs of industrialized agriculture, etc. Their existences have not only increased labor productivity, but also relieved the problems such as small scale operation and extensive production, etc. The Central Committee of the Party has paid high attention to the fostering of NABE and as the cradle of China’s rural reform, Anhui is developing the fostering of NABE in every city and district. Under the boosting momentum, some problems, however, has emerged. For example, non-standard land transfer, ageing rural labors, lower educational level of the main body of NABE, etc. The solution to these problems will make a great difference to the healthy development of Anhui’s NABE.Based on the theories concerning to NABE and established on the actual conditions of Anhui’s NABE fostering, this paper analyses the statistical and field research data, points out its main practical problems, and proposes relevant solutions and suggestions.This thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter elucidates its research background, purpose and significance, gives an overview of the foreign and Chinese scholars’ research trends in the fostering of new agricultural business entities (NABE), classifies its research content and framework, and indicates where can be innovated. The second one deals with the theories related to NABE. It first defines the connotation of NABE. Then, it points out the category of the current NABE and elaborates its theoretical basis. The third, through the research on the current status of Anhui’s NABE and the analysis of the whole province and some other regions, works out the general information of Anhui’s NABE as well as the measures being carried out. The forth chapter, dependent on the research data and findings, indicates the problems the province is confronted with. The fifth analyses the experiences of NABE in some East Asian countries such as Korea and Japan, and Zhejiang Province and Shanghai City in China, and further summarizes Anhui’s relevant experiences and revelations in combination with its specific circumstances. The final chapter proposes suggestions and solutions to the healthy development of Anhui’s NABE. Based on the analysis above and focused on the existing problems, this chapter presents the writer’s own idea. The seventh part makes the summary of the article.
