For a long time, China has been emphasis on the development of industry, and agriculture as the foundation of the industry has been serving the industry. In contrast the contribution of industry to agriculture is far from sufficient. " Three Rural Issues " has become increasingly prominent in China’s modernization process because of such a development model. Solving the "three rural" issue is our top priority, and the development of agriculture is the key to solve this problem. China’s agricultural production under the new era is in the context of opportunities and challenges, and how to avoid disadvantages and then ultimately enhance the competitiveness of our agriculture is worthy of study. Because the structure of political, economic and social environment is irrational, relying on a variety of internal adjustment of agriculture to improve agricultural competitiveness improvement is not enough, and this is the deep and difficult contradiction of China’s "Three Rural Issues". However, the relationship between urbanization and agricultural competitiveness needed to do further analysis. Grasp the relationship between them for the healthy development of China’s urbanization and enhance the competitiveness of agriculture have theoretical and practical significance. In this paper, we analysis the influence factors of the urbanization and the agricultural competitiveness in base of their connotation, and we build the evaluation index system of urbanization and agricultural competitiveness. Then we use factor analysis method to calculate the comprehensive score of urbanization and agricultural competitiveness based on the data of 30 provinces and cities from 2006 to 2011. And we use panel data model to analyze the two groups of data. Finally we find that there is a "U" shaped curve between the competitiveness of agriculture and urbanization. And developed areas in east are almost in the third stage; most of the central and western regions are in the second stage; only Guizhou, Gansu and Qinghai are still in the first stage. Finally, according to the conclusion of the analysis, we can put forward suggestions according to the present situation in the process of urbanization so that urbanization can contribute to enhance agricultural competitiveness in a better way.
