The Research On New Urbanization In Fuxin City

Urbanization is the only way to modernization, is an important channel to solve issues of agriculture and rural development, is an important pillar to promote regional coordinated development in an all-round way, is the key to expand domestic demand and promote industrial upgrading. Urbanization is a complex process of the population shift from rural to urban and rural areas and gradually evolved into urban areas, including transforms of population, economic, social and other aspects. Traditional urbanization is mainly dominated by the aimless extensive economic growth pattern, is one-sidedly pursuit of speed and scale of urban development, which has proved difficult to adapt to development in today’s era, and even turn a serious impediment to the process of urbanization. So innovation must be made for the past urbanization development model, and it’s time to come out a new path of urbanization.New urbanization has rich connotations, is involved in all aspects of systems engineering, and the core is people-oriented, the key is the quality improvement. In summary, the key tasks are divided into four areas, firstly, orderly promote the urbanization of rural population and the reform of household registration system; secondly, to optimize the layout and form of urbanization; thirdly, to improve the capacity of sustainable urban development, and improve the population carrying capacity; fourthly, to propel the integration of urban and rural development, so that the majority of farmers can join in the modernization development, and equitably enjoy modernization efforts.This paper takes Fuxin City as the object of study, through statistical data collection, questionnaire and on-the-spot visiting, detailedly learns about the current situation of local urbanization development, and explores the problems existing in the development process of urbanization.First of all, this paper researched on the related concepts and characteristics of urbanization, the significance and current research situation at home and abroad have been given. Secondly, the paper focused on the development of Fuxin’s new urbanization, started with analyzing geographical location, population, demographics, administrative divisions, natural conditions, economic profiles and industrial structure to understand the current situation of local urbanization development, and then got through the first-hand research data as well as a detailed analysis of all aspects of the data, identify problems of urbanization development, further explored the causes of problems. Next, the paper introduced successful examples of new urbanization development in China, represented by Tianjin, Chengdu, and Guangdong, the purpose is to obtain experiences from Fuxin City. Finally, combined with the specific development of Fuxin, several effective strategies for the future development of new urbanization were proposed.
