With the sustainable development of the world economic integration, china enterprise must keep pace with the world, and improve the backward enterprise management level,in order to cope with the challenge of market competition. the coal industry is the foundation of china’s economic development, but the fact is that the influence of fierce competition in the energy market and happening of coal mining accident lead to the most of coal enterprises.For the above reason, coal enterprises must reform the original management mode, pay more attention to the human resource management, so as to change the difficult situation. As far as Mining-Captain is concerned, as a coal producing basic management personnel, his duty is that complete the production task and improve staff awareness of production safety. It is necessary to strengthen individual performance appraisal, because of Mining-Captain’s major responsibility. And improving the Mining-Captain’s work efficiency, help to ensure the safe production of mine. However the actual performance appraisal of theMining-Captain has many problem, making it can not play a real role.This paper takes the individual performance appraisal as the research object to understand the real situation of the Mining-Captain through field research.Research mainly through interview, and collect the relevant data for collation and analysis. It is found that there are many problems in the performance appraisal For example, index system is not comprehensive, the appraisal method is not scientific, and the use of assessment results is not reasonable and so on. This paper consult massive literature to find the theoretical basis to solve the problem and improve original performance appraisal system.Meanwhile, put forward some guarantee measures in order to provide valuable reference for the human resurces department.
