With the rapid development of social economy and the improvement of people’s living standard, tourism has become important way people entertainment, loosen body and mind, become an indispensable part of people’s life. In our country to promote the development of tourism in this huge social demands fast, the unprecedented prosperity. City tourism image identity has passed the important role of urban tourism culture, guide consumers. Compared with the vigorous development of tourism industry, China’s city tourism image logo identification is still in the primary stage of development, lags far behind many tourism developed countries abroad. The development of tourism in the city for the tourism image logo design is put forward the urgent need, also give tourism image logo designers put forward higher requirements.This topic to our country some representative city tourism image logo as an example, from aspects of the status quo, characteristics and design method are studied and summarized, to explore the city tourism image logo design is the visual language and expression rule, thus for our country city tourism image logo identity design and communication provides a new train of thought, also for the spread and development of China’s tourism and tourism culture contributes own strength.
