The change of land use in the rapid urbanization and its driving factors analysis are hot topics in academic research, its purpose is to predict its future trends by revealing the internal mechanism of land use change and evolution in order to develop appropriate countermeasures. The development of resource-based cities has its universality and particularity; the research of land use change and its driving factors of resource-based cities in transition period have a strong practical significance.Daqing is a petrochemical-based industrial city built with mine; towns and industrial land are scattered distributed and there are many idle lands in the built city; the land is more prevalent wasted, the level of intensive land use is low. Based on different angles of the amount of land use, land utilization level, land use rate changes and land reclamation rate changes, the essay analyzes Daqing City 1987 - 2007 land use changes; applying gray correlative analysis, analyzing the driving force of land use change in the rapid economic development in Daqing; furthermore, the essay uses dynamics system and explores the land use structure change feedback mechanism, simulating sustainable land use system for Daqing and proposing future development of countermeasures and suggestions.The main conclusions of paper:(1) Judging from the amount of land use, during 1987 - 2007, the areas of grassland, woodland and construction land in Daqing show an increasing trend; cultivated land, unused land and water land areas decrease to varying degrees; from the aspect of land utilization, the composite Index of land use in Daqing falls reducing 6.76 in 20 years, indicating an overall decline in land use degree; 1987 - 2007 Daqing land utilization rate is increasing year by year, indicating that as the social and economic development, more attention has been paid on efficient use of land; This reflects the proportion of agricultural production land in Daqing is decreasing, while the proportion for non-agricultural production land is gradually increasing.(2) the driving force analysis shows that the main factor affecting changes in arable and residential land for mining is industry structural change.As oil exploration as the leading industry of city, Daqing city of population distribution, construction land, and even the distribution of agricultural land, are affected by mining area development and construction. As oil reserves decline, the decline in oil’s status as a leading industry, resources during the transformation of Daqing city development of the tertiary industry is lagging behind, and the land use pattern corresponding to it, remains to be further planning; the most affecting factor for forest land and transportation land changes are both the total population; the most affecting factor for water area is non-agricultural population. Taking full account of sustainable land use and the relationship of social, economic, environmental and other elements, land patterns and the sustainable use of system dynamics scenario analysis shows that over time, under the background of rapid social economy development of Daqing, the demand for land is large and arable land continues to show a rapid decrease trend, which also shows that Daqing current economic development and urbanization is essentially resource-dependent. The future development countermeasures are that handling the relationship between economic development and land use, the rational allocation of land resources, the overall arrangement of urban land targets, scientific planning of urban land use structure, improving land use intensive process to achieve the sustainable use of land resources.
