Study On The Hohhot Characteristic Agriculture Development

The development of the characteristic agriculture is an effective way to increase farmers’income. Hohhot, the capital city of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is very suitable for the development of the characteristic agriculture becauseof the special geographical environment and climate conditions. However, the performance of developing the characteristic agriculturein Hohhot is now not so satisfactory for some reasons that the increase of famers’ income isdifficult.Therefore, how to change the present situation, and choose the agricultural modernization route of local characteristics are significantly importantto the increase of farmers’ income and the transformation of the agricultural growth, furthermore, the traditional agriculture to modern agriculture.This paper aims to summarize the concept of characteristic agriculture and conclude the importance of the characteristic agriculture based on relevant theoretical knowledge. With integrated applications of the various economic subjects, this essay also analyzes the advantages and limiting factors of Hohhot to develop the characteristic agriculture combining previous researches and practical experience. Finally, In order to better promote the development of the characteristic agriculture in Hohhot, the study discovers the problems in the process of the characteristic agricultural development, and then puts forward relevantcountermeasures and suggestions according to the literature review, the combination of the research and practice as well as the analysis of typical cases.
