Evaluation And Empirical Research On The Quality Competitiveness Of The Manufacturing Industry In Jiangdu District Of Yangzhou City

With the rapid development of China’s economy and the economic globalization advance, The advantage of China’s cheap labor is constantly losing, and the quality has become a key factor for China participate in the global market, the level of quality not only reflect the competitiveness of enterprises, but also reflect the future development of enterprises. How to improve the enterprises’ product quality, to adapt to the changing market demand, to obtain the long-term competitive advantage in the market, has always been an important issue concerned by enterprise, government and society. This paper focused on quality competence of the manufacturing industry, according to the analysis of influence factors, constructed the evaluation model, and then use it for apply. We Study the concept and characteristics of the quality and evaluation model of quality competence. First of all, we review the literature about quality and evaluation model of quality competitiveness. Then discuss the process of how to construct the model of quality competence, including the analysis of influence factors, index calculation method, weight setting method and data standardization method etc. This paper puts forward the evaluation index of the quality competitiveness mainly includes the basic level of quality, the condition of quality safety, the development capability of quality and the capabilities of quality assurance, these four evaluation indicators. Then we use AHP to determine the index weight. Final apply this model in the manufacturing industry in Jiangdu district of Yangzhou city, we want to find out the competitive advantages and disadvantages of the enterprise and the district, at the same time, according to the results present some suggestions and measures for improve of quality competence advantages.
