With the development of global economy,Economic globalization makes the world economy had undergone tremendous changes. Various countries begin to pay attention to cultural industry,International cultural products trade is rising rapidly and growing constantly. Since China’s accession to World Trade Organization, the development of cultural industry got into strategic adjustment phase.Chinese government attached great importance to the development of cultural products trade,"Twelfth Five Year Plan" proposed to vigorously develop cultural undertakings,and accelerate the development of cultural industry,in order to enhance the international competitiveness and influence of Chinese culture.The development of cultural products trade had a spurt of progress.However,There are still large gaps in the development of cultural products trade between China and developed countries,China is still a trade deficit country in cultural products.Therefore,It is very important to enhance the competitiveness of China’s cultural products trade.This paper selects international cultural products trade power USA as reference,Basing by the factor endowment theory, national competitive advantage theory and similarity theory,this paper Comparative analysis the development of Cultural Products Trade between China and United States.Firstly, this paper clarifies the concepts of cultural products and cultural products trade,and analyzes the characteristics of global cultural products trade development;Secondly, compares the status quo of cultural products trade between China and United States,including three aspects such as the development environment, trade scale and trade structure;Thirdly,compares the competitiveness of cultural products trade between China and United States,including four aspects such as "Cultural endowments",The market demand, the development of cultural enterprises and government function;finally,summary American cultural products trade development experience,and made a number of recommendations to promote the development of China’s cultural products trade.
