The Research On The Rural Migrant Workers’ Social Integration In Liaoning From The Perspective Of Social Management Innovation

Affected by the city’s economic development, a large number of farmers from thecountryside move into urban. Though migrant workers live in the urban,they are out ofthe city’s social welfare,public service and social support network and developmentopportunities, and cannot be really integrated into city. Liaoning has taken a variety ofsteps to enhance the administration of rural migrant workers. However,the existingadministration model has been unable to satisfy the requirements of social developmentand their own development. In recent years,the Chinese government strongly advocatedto strengthen social management and innovation. This article is in the perspective of thesocial management innovation, using social management innovation and other relatedtheory to research the rural migrant workers’ social integration.This paper is mainly fromthe following aspects to elaborate.Firstly,the paper introduces the rural migrant workers’ social integration inLiaoning.Through accessing to related information,issuing questionnaires and interviewsto learn the situation of their social integration in Liaoning, and analyzing the situation ofthe rural migrant workers’ social integration from economic,social and psychology threeaspects. Finally found the rural migrant workers’ social integration is poor. They are in astate of want but subject to many restrictions and not into the situation.Secondly,The factors influencing the rural migrant workers’ social integration aredivided into migrant workers themselves level factors and external levels,with SPSS17.0statistical tools, using logistic regression analysis and interaction analysis, and analyzingsome factors in their own level that affect the rural migrant workers’ social integration.The factors influencing migrant workers themselves level are their age, income level,living conditions, human capital and social capital;external levels’factors include the household registration system, the social security system, education systemand city residents.Thirdly,Strategies promoting migrant workers into urban society mainly includegovernment management concept innovation, management system innovation,management innovation, nonprofit organization management innovation, communityorganization management innovation and so on.In the process of research, this paper based on the innovation of socialmanagement and from the perspective promote rural migrant workers’ social integrationanalyzes the social integration of migrant workers in Liaoning Province, and proposestargeted countermeasures and theoretical guidance.But there are also someshortcomings in the research process, such as the limited scope of the study, datacollection is not sufficient, for further research provides opportunities.
