With the rapid development of High-tech, global economic integration was greatly accelerated in recent years. In current international division system featured for vertical specialization, the division of industrial chain had widened the gap of the sophistication of different countries’ exports. As a result, more and more researchers, both Chinese and foreigners, had focused the problem of China’s export structure instead of export scale. This paper uses the computational method and index of Yao and Zhang (2008) as a reference. After dividing the export manufacturing into four technological categories, this article utilizes the Non-competitive Input-Output Table to calculate the whole technological contents, the domestic technological contents and DTC Index of every category and then makes a contrast with some western developed nations and Asian countries.Research results in this paper imply that: Firstly, in the period from1995to2009, the whole technological contents and domestic technological contents in every sector of China had been improved greatly, however the value of DTC almost remain the same except the middle and high technological category. Secondly, from the estimation results of the2009indicators, the gap between China and Western countries is not positive, especially the index of domestic technological contents. Andcompared with some eastern Asian countries and regions, the resultof these three indexes shows that China also has no comparative advantage in manufacturing.
