Collaborative theory originated in the Europe, was first proposed by HermannHaken in1971, using the systems science perspective explained. In recent years,industry-university collaborative innovation as a technological innovation model, received more and more attention, has become the focus of academic study. In China, the situation of technology and economy disconnection is becoming a serious problemaffecting the innovation capacity building and economic growth, industry-universitycollaborative innovation is the key to solving this problem. Textile industry cluster isthe characteristics of industrial clusters in Zhejiang Province, both in industrial scaleand in the overall level of efficiency to maintain its leading position in the country. Therefore, the empirical study of the textile industry cluster in industry-universitycollaborative innovation impact on innovation performance in Zhejiang province hasgreater social value. In this paper, based on previous industry-university collaborative innovation andrelated literature, we proposed the conceptual model of industry-university collaborativeinnovation. We divided the factors affecting collaborative innovation into fourdimensions: the industrial cluster environment, the absorptive capacity of enterprises, university academic strengths and government policy support; and the degree ofcollaborative innovation into three dimensions: strategic collaboration, organizationalcollaboration and knowledge collaboration. On the basis of conceptual model, weempirical tested the proposed the hypotheses containing on the theoretical model. We used a questionnaire for data collection in this study, received textile, clothing, printing and dyeing class enterprise questionnaire totally174copies andrecovered146valid questionnaires. Methods through factor analysis, correlationanalysis and multiple regression analysis to test hypotheses empirically. We draw thefollowing conclusions: First, all of the four dimensions (the industrial clusterenvironment, the absorptive capacity of enterprises, university academic strengths andgovernment policy support) play a positive role in promoting the collaborative innovation degree and the collaborative innovation performance, while thegovernment policy support shows the greatest impact on the collaborative innovationperformance; Second, strategic collaboration, organizational collaboration andknowledge collaboration promote the collaboration innovation output, the effect ofknowledge collaboration is most obvious, which is the key to collaborative innovationperformance impact;Third, knowledge collaboration plays a part in mediating rolebetween the the factors of collaborative innovation and the collaborative innovationperformance, while strategic collaboration, organizational collaboration’s intermediaryrole are partially verified. Finally, based on the results of the empirical analysis, we summarize theprogress achieved in theory, combined with the actual situation of the textile industryin Zhejiang province, and make relevant policy recommendations, then noted that thestudy and research prospects deficiencies.
