With the rapid development of science and technology, enterprises constantly improve their technological innovation capability to adapt to the changing market demand, technological innovation capability of an enterprise has become the key factors to improve its competitiveness in the market and maintain its market competitive position. But the rapid development of technology also makes it harder and harder to make technological innovation, an enterprise alone is often impossible to have all the technical knowledge needed in the process of technology innovation. To acquire knowledge of the external environment through knowledge transfer between alliance members by joining technology innovation alliance has become an important way for enterprises to seek technical innovation. Various forms of technical innovation alliances already exist, but the results of knowledge transfer are not as good as expected. The researches on knowledge transfer in alliance are mainly in aspects of influencing factors of knowledge transfer and transfer barriers by using the methods of theory analysis, case studies and empirical research. Although to some extent these studies explain the technical innovation alliance knowledge transfer rules, but cannot explain the complexity and the emergence of the system, which are caused by the interaction of alliance members on micro level. While simulation method is capable to make up the defects and deficiencies static research methods, by abstracting and simplifying the system in reality and simulating the complex knowledge transfer behavior. This paper has studied knowledge transfer in technology innovation alliances by the method of modeling and simulation. The practical works are as follows:Firstly, the paper analyzes the structure and function of technological innovation alliance system and the factors that influence knowledge transfer in alliance from the perspective of system, which is the basis of the following chapters. The simulation modeling method of knowledge transfer in technology innovation alliance is also introduced, and the feasibility and necessity of using this method are analyzed.Next, based on the theory and modeling of complex systems, the paper has established two knowledge transfer models respectively based on system dynamics and multi-agent. The system dynamics model focuses on subsystem formed by two members and the effects of different factors such as exterior environment(market demand and government policy) and proximity(geographical distance, cognitive distance and organization distance) are analyzed through simulation experiment, the results are as follows:the market demand and organization distance have positive effects on knowledge transfer, the promotion of government can also improve knowledge transfer in some degree, while geographical distance does not show big effect. The multi-agent focuses on alliance system formed by multiple members, and taking the profit of knowledge transfer as the adjustment basis, this paper discusses the effect of dynamic regulation of members on knowledge transfer effect. The result shows that knowledge transfer coefficient changes as time passes by, and it changes greatly at the initial stage, and becomes stable in the late period; the longer the adjustment duration of knowledge transfer, the larger the average amount of knowledge in the alliance.
