Technology Alliance Inter-organizational Knowledge Transfer Process, Patterns And Elements Of Research

With the development of knowledge economy, individual enterprises have been unable to provide all the necessary resources needed by a complex technical innovation, so technology alliances has become an important way to implement complex technological innovation. And successful knowledge transfer between organizations in alliance will have a positive impact on technical core competencies improvement.This paper will study knowledge transfer process in technology alliances by the integrated use of literature analysis, inductive method, case studies and other research methods based on the technical core competence theory and organizational learning theory. This thesis has important theoretical and practical value on the improvement of organizational knowledge transfer effect in technology alliance.In this paper, the theorys of technical core competencies and organizational learning have been summarized. The nature and meaning of technical core competencies and organizational learning have been defined. I studied the relationship between technological knowledge transfer and technical core competencies, as well as it and organizational learning.This paper hold that the ultimate goals of knowledge transfer are to enhance the technical core competencies of organizations.This paper analysis the inherent mechanism of inter-organizational knowledge transfer of technology alliance, defined the concept of inter-organizational knowledge transfer in technology alliance, analyzed technology potential difference causes of the formation of technology alliance, put forward the association-combination-integration three stage model of knowledge transfer, analyze knowledge transfer the effect of technological Cognitive distance, expected alliance value, organizational learning capacity and R&D costs, build inter-organizational knowledge transfer factor model and a mathematical proof. And make TD- SCDMA technology alliance as a case study, so as to provide practice support to the theory study.
