With the continuous development of the domestic real estate industry in recent years, theconcept of the real estate cost management has also changed. The real estate industry by thenational land policy, the impact of lending policies, GDP, prices, and so on many factors, butalso by the inter-industry competition. At present, China’s real estate industry suffered fromthe impact of various aspects of its development costs continue to increase, the management ofcosts is also more difficult. In order to better analyze the current real estate companies in thecountry’s lack of cost management and more targeted to propose solutions, this article will usethe LY’s A project as a case analysis. I hope that through this research to help our real estateindustry in today’s situation, to find a suitable cost management, reduce costs, increase profitsand competitiveness.Firstly with the background of the real estate industry to explore, summed up the problemof the cost management of the real estate industry is now encountered, and the main difficultylies.Secondly, widespread access to foreign literature, reference and foreign scholars researchin this area and literature, be reviewed and comments. Then from the theoretical level, analysisof China’s real estate development costs. From a practical level, to LY’s A project for example,combining theoretical results, the analysis of its cost management objectives, methods,systems, processes and results. Analysis of its worth learning in cost management office, andareas for improvement.
