Korea MICE industry originated in the1988Seoul Olympics, the success of the Olympic Games held in South Korea’s international reputation is enhanced, improv ing domestic MICE industry infrastructure for the development of the MICE industr y in Korea has laid a foundation. Through unremitting efforts, Korea has become the international exhibition industry a force to be reckoned with. Currently Korea MIC E industry has developed into a strategy based on strengthening export industry, rela ted industries ripple effect for very large, but also a high value-added service industr les.MICE industry as a high value-added services to industrial, economic ripple eff ect is very large, not only to improve foreign exchange earnings, increased demand f or talent-related industries, but also to accelerate the economic development organiz ed by organizing international exhibitions, thus improving the country economic stre ngth levels. With the accelerated pace of development of exhibition industry, the Uni ted States, Germany and other developed countries, the MICE industry, as well as C hina, Hong Kong, Singapore, Macau and other Asian countries are competing to dev elop the MICE industry, active efforts to support the development of the MICE indu stry.The South Korean government is currently supporting the development of large-scale exhibition industry, in order to successfully organize the exhibition, an adequa te supply of software and hardware aspects of the convention facilities, the develop ment of specific support services and training programs to enhance the image of the country to accelerate economic development through the handle MICE activities.The purpose of this study is to Korea on the status of the development of the M ICE industry to understand and evaluate the competitiveness of the city to read the r elevant papers to determine the Korea MICE city competitiveness evaluation index s ystem, and collect relevant data, to Seoul, Busan, Jeju three tourist city for example, the evaluation of MICE tourism competitiveness, and to make those reviews; finally integrate research, development trends of the Korean exhibition industry look ahead and make some suggestions for the development of the exhibition industry in Korea.
