The most important factor to the survival and development of commercial banks is to have good benefits. For the most part and a bank’s benefit is created by its marketing personnel. So the working condition of bank marketing personnel are often critical to the bank’s survival and development. Every commercial bank should take into consideration that how to measure marketing personnel’s performance fairly and effectively and give an objectively evaluation and an appropriate payment therefore stimulating their initiative and activeness.And the performance appraisal of marketing personnel is the key issue of a commercial bank’s management.Instead of completely copy other enterprises’ experience,a bank’s performance appraisal system must be designed combining with its development strategy, its present development strategy and the market environment, for only by basing on the bank’s actual characteristics, continuous exploration and practice and adhering to the exploration, adjustment and improvement of the appraisal system itself could staff be really motivated and the resource optimally allocated.This dissertation summarizes the present conditions of the performance appraisal of marketing personnel of Huaxia bank Weifang branch.Through analyzing the existing of Huaxia bank Weifang branch marketing personnel performance appraisal way,the deficiency of the bank’s performance evaluation is pointed out. According to the appraisal management conditions,we redesign the performance appraisal index of Huaxia bank Weifang branch, making comprehensive performance management mode to be a management tool of improving the performance appraisal of bank marketing personnel.The purpose of this study is ascending the single performance appraisal pattern of marketing personnel of the Huaxia Bank Weifang branch to the pattern with the core of balanced scorecard and the competence model of marketing personnel. The structuring of new performance appraisal system is based on the balanced scorecard as the basic assessment index,through the organic combination to help the bank implement development strategy effectively, also hope that we can provide reference suggestions for performance management mode reform of more commercial banks.
