Cruise tourism has become fashionable in recent years as a kind of vitality, and has been accepted and familiar by more and more people.As many coastal cities have invested great efforts to build a cruise homeport and promote homeport economic development. China has entered the Cruise Economic Times. After a port city has become a cruise homeport, it will be significantly affected by the development of cruise tourism and related industries, including the expansion of consumption, foreign exchange earnings, stimulating employment, and international image enhancement.Combined with tutor’s research direction, personal professional background and research, this article is not only giving an instruction about how cruise homeport impact the North district in Qingdao City through in-depth field investigations, using cruise industry cruise radiation model and the theory of industrial radiation research, combined with the questionnaire, government policies, related departments coordination, urban planning and construction, tourism industry upgrading, human resource support and impact on the lives of residents,This article is not only paying attention to the impact of domestic and foreign relevant theory on cruise tourism development and its construction of cruise home port, but also giving discussion about issues involved in Qingdao cruise tourism development and providing solutions as build "Tourism canal", considering various aspects including current condition of Qingdao and shibei, government decision-making process, and questionnaire from related government functional departments. Moreover, its strategies also benefits Shibei district in tourism competitiveness improving and sustainable development.
