The concept of "SoLoMo", (i.e., Social, Local, and Mobile) arises with the technology-inspired internet progress and diverse custom needs. The components of the word SoLoMo feature the three trends that lead to the birth of the very concept and reveal one possible future of Internet. Major domestic E-business corporations, therefore, unexceptionally sent their probes into three fields and fought to build their own bridgeheads:catering group-purchase websites (CGPW), order-deliver on third-party websites (ODTPW), and Wechat-business.Practice leads academic research in a field that is as booming and unpredictable as E-business. Most of the current research focused on the phenomenon of CGPWs rather than the underlying mechanism; the innovative ODTPWs and Wechat-business have hardly drawn any academic attentions yet; this research will shed some light on the unexplored field of SoLoMo.The aim of the research is to construct the theoretical model that can define and predict SoLoMo. Based on reviews of current research and case studies, the author qualitatively analyzes:the current achievements in catering E-business study; the subjects, procedure, and profit of CGPWs and Wechat-business; the current and reef in SoLoMo, which leads to customized catering websites (CCW) and web-based neighborhood-catering (WBNC). It is concluded from real cases that:CGPW is not a continuous pattern; proper supervisions are still absent on ODTPWs; CCWs and WBNC are the best current-exist fits to both theoretical and practical needs of customs, and thus show potential of further development. This research supplies the study of CGPW and ODTPW and shows new possibilities in the field of SoLoMo.
