Aerospace manufacturing industry is a high investment, high risk, high innovation industries, which represents a country’s productivity level, it is also a strategic emerging industries to upgrade the industrial structure. Therefore, it is very important to improve technological innovation, so we will do an empirical study on the aerospace manufacturing industry. Since the reform and opening up, Chinese aerospace industry has made brilliant achievements, but there are also the situation that the resources cannot be put into full use, the paper consider aerospace industry as the research object, study aerospace’s input and output efficiency, and to identify important factors that influence technological innovation in order to promote aerospace technology innovation.This study was mainly reflected in the following two aspects:1. Using DEA model to analysis Chinese aerospace manufacturing industry. First of all, the paper analyzes the input and output status on Chinese aerospace manufacturing industry in recent years, based on reading lots of related literature, then build innovation efficiency indicators system about input and output. Then, using static DEA model to analyze the technical efficiency of the 20 provinces, three regions and two subsectors, to draw innovation efficiency, and to analyze change reasons; Finally, using the Malmquist index, to analyze the technological innovation efficiency changes.2. On the basis of technological innovation efficiency research and reading relevant literature, combining the characteristics of the aerospace industry, putting forward to five hypotheses, then using the random effects model to analysis 9 year panel data, drawing the conclusion, the quality of personnel, the government support, the firm growth capacity, which are positive effect, the R&D intensity, the average firm scale, which are negative effect. Finally, to put forward the policy recommendations to enhance the technological innovation efficiency of China’s aerospace manufacturing industry.
